The HV-D30P is a ultra compact 3CCD type colour camera featuring 1/3" format CCD's with each CCD containing 470,000 pixels (picture elements). The C mount lens fitting provides convenient physical compatibility with a broad selection of readily available and specialised optical systems. For improved performance and reliability, it is equipped with a 14-Bit DSP containing a single newly developed ultra-LSI chip utilizing Hitachi's most recent processing technology to achieve small size, low power consumption and high stability.

The HV-D30P is also available in NTSC.
