In the area of Product Innovation, our mission is to develop and introduce to the marketplace innovative hardware and software solutions based on an intelligent application of technology using off-the shelf components. The key to success will be to emphasize increased productivity, reduction of risk, and remote troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.

We will exploit training as a differentiating competitive advantage. DVT's ability to provide free training has been magnified with the introduction of The Virtual Tour interactive CD. Containing over 30 hours of vision system training, nearly 100,000 copies will be distributed in 2001, and an equal amount is expected to be distributed in 2002. Classroom, online and web-based training will also be increased.

Effective communications will be the cornerstone to realizing our vision. Through extensive use of D.O.C (DVT Online Conferencing), every DVT employee will have the capability of video conferencing with customers, vendors and coworkers from their desks.
Sensitivity to cultural differences, and localization of messages will be a key element of improved communications on a global basis. Our marketing programs, technical and customer support will be tailored to the needs of specific markets.
